Clown Zero: Learn to Play from The Body
Zero because it's basic? NO! Zero because this class works on the foundation under technique. In this class you will explore and investigate your connection to the body and expression of experiences, emotions, voice and the comic world. In other words, your connection to you!
Body intelligence is key to clown and any other form of comedy or acting. Instead of seeking to remove or set things aside, we want to have access and be able to work with ourselves and bodies. And we want our bodies to trust us in the risks we ask it to take. The only thing we want to detach from is shame. In order to build this capacity, we will access and address tensions, blocks and new channels to raucous fun. Through both rigor and relaxing Ha ha's and likely a few wha wha's and definitely some yahoooos, will be had!
This class is for you whether you are brand spanking new or a veteran looking to stretch your edge.
Come ready to move.
