Join us on April 14th at 8pm for the premiere and album release party of Dark Things, a unique, genre-defying song cycle composed by John W. Snyder. Based on the poetry of Novica Tadić and performed by two sopranos, chamber ensemble, and electronics, the work explores the ever mysterious and disturbing chthonic underpinnings of human nature.
In addition, O Mother, a song cycle based on tragic folk songs from around the world, will also premiere, as well as a new work by Jonathan Snipes of Clipping.
Directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada and Produced by Kimberly Stuckwisch from Little Ugly.
Performance will last for one hour with an after-party + special surprises following on the patio.
