A Terrible Show for Terrible People

A Terrible Show for Terrible People is a raunchy and rambunctious solo clown performance that is both boner- and vomit-inducing.

Two Shows! 8/14 @ 10pm, 8/15 @ 10pm

Tickets ($8): https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-terrible-show-for-terrible-people-tickets-48622271523

In her world premiere at the Lyric Hyperion, physical comedian Bonnie He takes the audience on an flirtatious journey from death to rebirth, opening a voyeuristic window into personal tragedy, triumph, and titillation. Mostly titillation. TIT-illation.

Be prepared to be turned on or grossed out, but most likely, both. Bring that special someone, but leave the kids at home (or anywhere).

The show is nonverbal, but wildly interactive. The audience is complicit, and that’s what makes A Terrible Show so riveting: you’re not just watching a show - you’re participating in the destruction of common decency.

“Some of the evening’s highlights include a hilarious, irreverent burlesque act performed by Bonnie He.” - Dana Martin, Stage Raw

“I definitely got a half-chub watching that.” - Real Audience Member

“Well, that was a fetish I didn’t know I had.” - Real Audience Member

“That was so gross, yet still tasteful.” - Real Audience Member

500 Ways to Leave Your Lover: A Nephew's Lament

Paul Simon's nephew and Crunch Fitness parking attendant Taul Simon (Drew Spears) is furious at being excluded from his uncle's farewell tour despite having no 'musical background' or 'discernible talent'. That’s why Taul is on a mission to prove that he is better than his uncle Paul at every aspect of entertainment at this evening of music, comedy, and good ole fashioned grudge settling alongside a lineup of special guests. The night culminates in the debut of Taul's original song "500 Ways To Leave Your Lover", which is nothing like his uncle’s song "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover", though five hundred is much more impressive than fifty.

Back in the Closet

Back in the Closet

Former US Figure skating champion turned comedian Roman Fraden invites you to take a cosmic journey Back in the Closet- his uproarious personal odyssey through motel rooms with Tonya Harding, catastrophic Grindr hookups, and the upsetting story behind why Sting once called him "the pussy of a plant".

Tickets ($7): https://www.eventbrite.com/e/back-in-the-closet-tickets-48150531536

From riffs on contemporary culture, the challenges of anonymous sexual escapades, and piercing analysis of the most common and universal topics, Roman’s show daringly walks a tightrope between an orgiastic celebration of a hedonistic lifestyle whilst simultaneously providing a penetrating dissection of its very essence... often within the same breath.

After extensive touring throughout the United States, Roman is making his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2018. He's transformed thousands of hours of grueling skate practice plus a useless psych degree into a uniquely hilarious new one-man show, weaving incredibly revealing stand-up, original music, and outrageous physical comedy into a master takedown of modern life.

Roman Fraden is a regular performer at classic Hollywood venues including The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Hollywood Improv. He has trained with Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre in Los Angeles, performed in various ensemble casts in film and on stage, and has been featured in The New York Times and USA Today.

Back In The Closet makes it's world premiere at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018.

Featuring Performances by:

Mike Hanford (The Birthday Boys, Comedy Bang! Bang!)

Teresa Lee (Take My Wife, Cracked)

Marlena Rodriguez (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt)

Brad Evans and Nick Ciarelli (Atlantic City, Tween Fest)
